The Virginia Festival of the Book presents two writers who love music and two singers who love to write. Lee Smith (The Last Girls) and Jill McCorkle (Going Away Shoes) and Nashville singer-songwriters Matraca Berg (Reba McEntire, Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill) and Marshall Chapman (Jimmy Buffett, Wynonna, Olivia Newton-John) come together on one stage on behalf of the Book Festival. Each one is an event by herself; all four create a force of nature. Weaving together stories and music, the evening will entertain you, charm you, and captivate as only four Southern women can. Proceeds from this event will support the Virginia Festival of the Book.
